Growing Conditions

The precise northwards orientation boosts the sun exposure and the light catchment that guarantee acquiring the necessary phenological ripeness for the Petit Verdot, which also favour its maximum varietal expression.


Nose

The aromatic complexity coming from black fruits and vanilla.

Palate

Full-bodied.

Appearance

Intense violet-red colour.

Food Pairing

This Petit Verdot is the ideal company for grilled poultry and for traditional game meat: hare civet or a delicate rabbit confit with herbs. Bouillabaisse soup or tuna with tomato are two ways of giving an interesting contrast to it as well as highlighting its originality.


Aging

12 to 18 months in untoasted French oak barrels.
